This dessert includes:

Preparation Time
30 minutes + chilling
Serves 4
1. Vanilla Flan
Ingredients

250 g QimiQ (uncooled)
-
7 tbsp powdered sugar
-
Vanilla extract (to taste)

200 g crème fraîche
Method
-
Whisk the QimiQ until smooth.

Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and crème fraîche.

Mix until fully combined and silky.
-
Spoon the mixture into pudding moulds.
-
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight to set.
2. Salted Caramel
Ingredients

150 g sugar
-
0.5 dl water
-
1 tbsp salted butter
-
0.5–1 dl single cream (depending on desired texture)

Bora Bora Sea Salt – Pure (to taste)
Method

Add the sugar to a clean, dry saucepan and melt gently over medium heat, without stirring, until golden.

Carefully add the water and butter at the same time (note: it may splatter).

Continue heating and stir until the sugar dissolves again and the mixture becomes smooth.

Add a pinch of Bora Bora Pure Sea Salt and adjust to taste.

Stir in the single cream gradually until the caramel reaches the desired consistency.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3. Plating & Finishing
Method

Carefully unmould the chilled flan onto serving plates.
-
Pour the cooled caramel generously over the top.
-
Finish with a delicate sprinkle of Bora Bora Sea Salt – Pure.
